Another six from my WIP, Caliburn.

An angry voice shouted from across the warehouse . Gunter Rasmussen was well-known in the underground. He was known for grinding a fighter to dust before he build them back into unstoppable machines.
Many long-timers in the scene wondered when he’d get around to rebuilding Alejandra.
Santiago and Gen (and secretly, Gabriel) were convinced he never would. She was still winning fights, and Gunter liked his women powdery.

Intriguing. Likes his women "powdery"? Very interesting indeed. Good work on your six.
ReplyDeleteVery intriguing. The set up is a great tease.
ReplyDeleteSounds very intriguing!
ReplyDeleteIntriguing.
ReplyDeleteSeriously trippy, and I find myself deciding that I don't like Gunter.
ReplyDeleteVery intriguing...great hook.
ReplyDeletePowdery? Huh. I'm trying to figure out what that means in this context, which means, of course, that I need more. :D
ReplyDeleteYou've definitely got me ready for more!
ReplyDeleteAwesome last line!
ReplyDeleteGunter sounds hard-core. Great six :)
ReplyDeleteUnderground fight scene? Sounds like you're working on something both unique and interesting!
ReplyDeleteSo, is Gunter the one who's yelling? What IS he yelling?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think the 'powdery' comment is in reference to Gunter grinding a fighter to dust, but the line seems to insinuate that she's his woman and she's super submissive to him... or that he's like it to be that way. Anyways, it's not as clear as it could be, but the situation is certainly interesting.
